Jeep Wrangler YJ : difficult to close doors when cold weather

I have a 1993 YJ with half doors and when the weather is cold, it is very difficult to close particulary the driver door. The latch mechanism doesn't seem to bite, to stay hitched. Before replacing it I would want to know if the problem is known and if a solution exists !
Thanks

Have you tried spraying WD-40 in behind and all around , work it, then spray with lithium grease?

The fuel pump doesnt come on and there is no spark.....

Check for the fuse for the fuel pump and the relay. Other than that it may be a wiring issue or a computer module issue.

Soft top-1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ

OK I have a yj and you start from the windshield put the snaps/or what ever yours is on the top of the doors then down the side or the doors then under the back side window then around the curve and this is the hardest part then your tailgate also make sure your bars on the inside are loseuntil the top is on then thighting those bars and you should have a nice tight top but belive me it is hard and you might need a flathead screw driver for the corners. Good luck and a jeep wave to you!

93 wrangler yj electrical wet

You have likely fixed this by now but if not, you will have to use some dry rags and dry off everything!!!! Use compressed air wherever you can't get to (or at the least, a tire pump) Vehicles are not designed for use in the water. If ;you want to do this, get with some off road clubs that can give you tips on waterproofing stuff!!! Just to somewhat "wheatherise" my stuff, I wipe down ignition components with a rag saturated with wd40&silicone spray. I don't think this will work in deep water but it sure helps in very damp or rainy weather! You can also make splash guards out of very heavy tar paper or sheet metal that you can place under the front, but be careful where and how you place and secure it so nothing interferes with steering etc.
