2003 F150 Supercrew. Power door lock button on drivers side would not unlock doors, but would lock. Now it doesn't do either. The factory remote fob still unlocks and locks the doors, but the one for the remote start system will only unlock the doors. Passengers side button works just fine.
Sounds like the drivers door lock switch is bad an as far as the auto start remote the contacts under the button get dirty and won't make contact, open the remote like changing the battery and you can probably get at the contact button, if it's a little carbon button they can be cleaned with a pencil eraser and then paper tower with a bit of rubbing alcohol, if it's an actual switch you can try spraying some contact cleaner into the switch. let it dry before you put the battery back in.

normaly if driver side lock switch dont unlock any doors then ya prolly have to put new driver side main switch in hope this helps
