Remove the serpentine belt by using a breakover bar, rachet or serpentine belt removal tool with the correct size socket for the pulley mounting bolt. Rotate tensioner arm to release tension. Remove the belt.

The routing diagram for your serpentine belt should be on the inside of your hood.

Wrong alternater or your putting the belt on wrong.

They usualy put the diagram on the underside of the hood where it's easy for mechanics to see and check while changing belts

You might want to take a trip (along with a digital camera) to either a used car lot, or a wrecking yard.
I've done it myself a few times.
Easiest way is look for a listing of a similar car for sale locally, open the hood, and take a picture.
