I assume you are talking about a radio? sounds like the radio is improperly wired and if you are luckey you have some blown fuses.

Odometer on saturn sl2 1998 does not light up why

If all the other gauges and warning lights work, I would say it is a problem in the cluster circuit board.

2001 Civic dimmer not working

It's not high and low beam, it's the dash lights that are dim. I've hooked up many aftermarket radios but never knew it was a no no to hook up the dimmer/illumination orange wires in a '01 civic. I googled it and seen many others with similar issues like mine but nothing exactly like the issue I have.

All the dash lights work, they are dim though. The radio lights work but they are even more dim than the rest of the dash lights. I have check every single fuse under the dash and in the engine bay. The dim controller does not work at all now. I'm guessing that's the issue and from what I read, the dimmers circuit board is in the instrument cluster. Some can fix it, others can't.

I will probably end up buying a used instrument cluster off of ebay, they are not expensive. Hopefully that fixes it since everything else works.

Oh, yes, the brake lights work.

Ted, I think you answered the wrong question...I mentioned nothing about the battery or the low/hi beams

93 saturn sl2 standard trans, twin cam odometer broken, fix or send cluster

Depends on how much money you are going to spend to fix a very minor problem on a 500 dollar car. You can buy a repair kit on eBay for a few bucks, or you can buy a used cluster with the kit in it and your mileage will be off forever. In the end your car will not be worth one more dollar, so think about the difference with a working or non working odometer.

On my 93 saturn sl2 in order for the car to crank and start i have to turn the right turn signal on. If i do this it starts every time. Do i have to replace the whole ignition blinker and light cluster?

Have you done any wiring changes in your car recently? There should be no interaction between the turn signal switch and the starter switch. You do not need to replace your light cluster. In fact, I don't think you have a problem with your turn signal switch, unless, of course, the turn signals do not work. Do you have access to an electrical schematic and a voltmeter?

Need wiring color code for a 2000 saturn SL2 for hooking up a trailer light four pin connector

The trailer wires are left turn, right turn, running lights(the smaller elements on both tail-lights and any side lights) and ground. Energise the corresponding lights and connect the wires accordingly. Find a good ground. A piercing test probe will find the correct wire for you if you can't track it to the bulb.

2000 Saturn sl2 tail lights

If the 2000 Saturn SL2 is the same as the '99 SL2, then your tail lights bulb is the same bulb as your break light bulb. Now they are dual bulbs, just like your head lights. So just the same way that your brights can work, but your headlight lamp be out, or vice versa, is the same with your break lights. So replace both bulbs and you should be good to go. I just had to replace both mine, one was a tail light out, and the other's break light was out, either way, same bulb. Also, check your manual for the light, or take the light out when you go in to get new ones. I found that for some reason there is some confusion on the bulb in this make in model.
