A quick fix is to first put the wiper arm into the correct position then drill downward through the wiper arm and into the wiper pivot.Don't drill all the way through the whole assembly, just 3/4 through the whole thing. Then break off the drill in the drilled hole. The hardened steel drill will run the wiper arm on the pivot.Dab a little sealant on the drilled hole/drill bit and run the wiper with no problem next time it rains..

SOURCE: oNE WINDSHILD wiper works the other one doesn't

There most likely is a nut at the base if the wiper arm, nearest to the cowl/windshield, that is loose. Grab a cressant wrench and attack.
Lefty loosey, righty tighty.....:-)

Hyundai Atos 2000 one of the front wipers not working.

Try this test. With the key OUT of the ignition stand outside the vehicle, reach out and try to move the broken wiper blade by hand. Does it move with no resistance? Does it feel like 'clicking' as you move it? Does the other wiperblade move slightly as you move it or does it not move at all?
This will help work out if it is the wiper arm slipping on it's drive spindle or if the problem is deeper down underneath in the rods and arms moving the wiperblades. Please comment below with this information and I'll try to help you more.

Driver's side windshield wiper has stopped and i can still hear the motor working but it is not moving the wiper. i can get the nut off on the arm to remove the wiper but after that i cannot get the...

Hyundai started using plastic washers to hold down wiper arms. This is to prevent damage to the wiper transmission in cases where the wipers are either frozen to the windshield or trying to push too much snow/ice. To remove the wiper arm, you will need to locate the washer and remove it first. Chances are the washer will be the only part you need to replace.

My 2003 Sante Fe drivers side windshield wiper is not working. Passenger side is OK

Remove the wiper arm by taking the nut off the end of the post coming through the base of the wiper. turn on the wipers and if the little post is turning back and forth with the other wiper, then you need a new wiper arm. the little serrations on the inside of the arm's base get stripped, usually from turning the wipers on when they are stuck to the windshield by ice. if the little post is not turning then you need a new wiper transmission. you will need a repair manual for that.

Passenger windshield wiper does not work, driver side does work. wiper blade frame or wiper motor?

Most likely it is the linkage between the driver and passenger blade arms. The easiest way to find out is to remove the cowling and look...you should see the wiper motor, the motor arm that links to the driver arm and the linkage between the driver arm and passenger arm...this is held together by a plastic clip and that clip is most likely going to be broken when you look...it's fairly easy to replace.
