Coils are good injectors are clean no vacum leak

ok code 0300 is a random multiple cylinder misfire. probably ignition related is my guess. i would check the coil pack and ignition module and go from there.

Hello: There was a GM bulletin that pertained to this problem, It involved the head and valve train. You should go to a Chev dealer and see if the VIN of your truck falls in the group of units involved. The fix was to replace the head. If your truck is out of warranty I don't know if GM would cover the repair expense.

I'd suspect a sticking injector--car should have set the check engine light. Read the code(s) to progress further. If the coil pack were a problem, it would not be likely to fix itself. If the codes indicate an injector problem, try an injector cleaner in the fuel--worst case, replace the bad injector. The codes should indicate which cylinder to change the injector.
