I have a 95 Jetta. The warning light at the far left of the bar started flashing. It looks something like a thermometer stuck in an ornate (possibly oil) container. What does it mean?
It says that your vehicle is low on coolant.Get the coolant level checked. If low has to be changed.

SOURCE: Warning light that looks like a faucet for a 2005 Jetta. No Manual
it means you are low on coolant
SOURCE: what does the warning light above the oil light
It sounds like it's your coolant light.
Your coolant may be low or you may have a pressure leak
SOURCE: warning light stays on the dashboard. don't know
i believe this is either a low tire pressure light, or low brake pad light.
