Water leak check:
1. Plenum chamber leaks at loom exits (Accident damage or corrosion)
2. Water leak at air con fan inlet (Accident damage or gasket wear)
3. Water leaking from air con heater pipe (corroded water pipe to/from heat exchanger)
Your description doesn't help much, but going on where I have found leaks in the past, the main place is the pipework that goes from more or less where you describe and goes under the car all the way to the rear heater. These pipes do rot and leak. I have lost count of how many Sedona's I have seen with the rear heater pipes looped out to stop leaks. You just need to dry all around where you think the leak is and watch carefully for water leaking. unless you give a better description I cant help you further, sorry
If it leaks when it is raining then the windscreen seal is faulty. Depending how bad the leak is it maybe fixed by applying sealant around the windscreen where it leak occurs otherwise the windscreen needs to be removed and resealed. If the water leak is from the heater then it could be the heating coil or a leaking heater pipe. You need to trace the source of the leak and fix or get a motor mechanic to fix this leak.
It's air in your heater core. With truck running and radiator cap off, top off radiator with coolant. My take 10-15 mins but that will help bleed air from system.
TO FIX COOLANT LEAK.YOU HAVE TO LOCATE IT.BEST TIME FIND COOLANT LEAK WAIT UNTIL MORNING.ADD COOLANT UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL IN RADIATOR CORRECT. START THE ENGINE LET IDLE UNTIL START GETTING HOT.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE.COOLANT PRESSURE WILL PUSH COOLANT OUT WHERE LEAKS ARE.CHECK TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE.CHECK AROUND RADIATOR LOOK DOWN BELOW COOLANT FAN AREA BEHIND RADIATOR.LOOK FOR LEAKS AT RADIATOR CORES AND SIDE CONTAINERS.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND WATER PUMP GASKET OR WEEP HOLE.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND HEATER HOSES AND HEATER CORE.CHECK ENGINE CRANKCASE FOR COOLANT LEAKS.
yes you got it in one,, its an air lock stoping the water going round the heater, you need to blead the air out rad seal wont block up the heater,,,,iv used it many times,,,my old truck ran with it in for years!
look for a bleed scew on a water pipe and open it with the motor running let water ran out till no air is in it, top up header tank as well
1, check fan drive belt tension. 2,radiator cap 3,thermstat operation 4.coolant hoses for leaks 5, heater internal leaks 6,fan clutch 7,a/c fan 8,shroud around fan 9.service radiator 10,water pump for leacks
If your talking about adding water to your radiator then you may
1) Have the wrong mix of water to antifreeze
2) Have a cooling system leak
3) Have a faulty thermostat on the engine block
For cooling system leaks I always add "Bars Leak" to the coolant system first since it's cheap and inexpensive and will seal small leaks....NOTE: Always read the instructions carefully and follow to the "T" !

Same thing happened to mine.. i have a 97 skylark.. its coming from the heater core compartment under the dash.. most cars leak on the inside when the heater core blows.. but this car has a drain that leaks it outside under the passenger side... hope this helps.. G-LaL
