You either know how to check that out or you
need a repair shop

No one can tell you what is wrong, only testing
will do that

Worn out Starter Solenoid
Starter
Cables Loose
Battery Failing

You gave us nothing to go by,you
realize that

Where is the pcm located on a 1995 ford explorer?

You won't have the ability to replace a PCM yourself

That will be a very expensive Dealer job & the next one
will have to have your info transfered over & possibly updated

For a thousand dollars, I would start diagnosing other items

You can not do anything yourself until you spend around
$400.00 for the factory work shop manuals & powertrain
control & emission manuals

Without them as reference material, you have nothing, nothing
to work with & no knowledge of the product your attempting
to diagnose & repair, if necessary.

We are having problems looking for the location of the shift solenoid on the 2002 ford explorer. could you email the picture or a diagram of the location of the shift solenoid

Put your trans model into your search engine
& find out where they are

May find a picture,may not

If you know nothing, there is plenty on all
transmissions made for fords for the last 70 years

YOU TUBE is always a good place to go
You can play with that & watch anything

I think you remove the pan to get to them

You don't go changing anything on a wish & hope,
push & poke theory

If you don't know what they do or how to test
them & you won't,go to a trans shop
