Are you using the original key that came with the car? The chip in that key may have gone bad. Try using the spare key that should have come with the purchase of the car. You may also be having battery issues. If all else fails....call the people who really know how to rape you...DUM Dum dummmmm....the dealer

Hi i have a question that may seem dum to some but im stumped...so i have a chevy cobalt ss 2006 and on the front driver side my low beams do not work but my high beam does and my blinker light on the same...

You may have a burned out headlight bulb the low beams always go first, if thats it change the passenger side as well. I'm not sure I know what you're saying with the turn signal, are you talking about the parking light not working? Or does the turn signal stop flashing when you release the lever, if that's the case the turn switch is bad. I hope this helps. Take care. If you have more questions for me use testimonial and it will show up in my email.

I have a Chevrolet cobalt and the left turn signal will not work the inside light on dash flashes fast. I have changed the light bulb still doesn't work.

Fast flashing usually indicates that one of the exterior bulbs isn't functioning. You've checked front and rear signal lights, right? If the bulb is good, it could be corrosion in the socket, bad ground, broken wire, etc.

TURN SIGNALS

Hi

Did you check the fuses for the turn lights? Do the
parking lights work? If the parking lights work then you probably have a
problem either in the switch or in turn signal module thing.
The burned out bulb is what might be causing it not to blink... if one bulb is burned out you gotta replace it, make no difference if front or back, the left blinker will not work if the left front or rear bulb is bad.
same with the right side. if the front right or rear right turn signal
light is burned out it will not work.....get replacing the bulbs.Hope this solves your problem. Please rate me if my solution helped you.

/'left front turn signal works but not when headlights are on

1. check your turn signal light bulbs to see if one is burned out or partly burned out. One filament may be broken. Do it with lights on and off. Check brake lights. If one not working that is the problem bulb. Check front and back lights.

2. replace your turn signal flashers in fuse panel

1996 chevy 1500 truck when i turn left turn signal on back up lights come on and when i turn the right turn signal on the emergency blinkers come on. The front blinkers work correct.

Hmmmmm.....anybody messed with the wiring in the rear to do some trailer towing? Apparently current is getting into the back-up light wiring. You have a burned, melted or bare wire back there maybe. don-ohio

Turn signal lights not working. turn on emergency flashers and the right signal flashes and bath back lights and the front right flash but the left front don't. any idea's

The 2 filament on the LH Front turn signal is most likely burned out, ...........or the ground to it, & the entire socket needs replaced. Caution lights, send signals to ALL FRONT & REAR lights. All turn signal lights must be in working order, as it is a "pulsating" currect surge sent to the bulbs, LH or RH, depending which direction you wisk to turn. If 1 filament is broken, the circuit is incomplete, & no flash will occur. Usually you will get one light that stays on, & the front or rear missing lighting, is the one whichis the culpret.

Rear turn signal and hazard light don't flash (left side only)

The rear left turn signal bulb must be replaced immediatly before it melts the light socket, if it has'nt yet. Also please verify that the correct light bulb is being installed. because even though many bulbs look the same they are not identical. Installing the wrong bulb can be the begining of many, many problems in the particular circuit

Suggest the front strut is bad. You should replace them as a set, if so.
(Also check the bolts at the bottom of the strut. The two large ones. Insure that they are tight. Look close with a light. See if the bolt head has moved. If so, it will have left a pattern behind, of where it was sitting)
