When i push the button on my keypad the light comes on but it seem not to respond to the immobiliser on the car and the car wont start. i dont have the five digit code to disarm the car. is there any otherway to get the car started or is there a way to get the immobiliser dissconected
We fixed the problem.Look in the fuse box on right hand side under steering wheel near door and check your fuses. We had a blown fuse 3rd down from top, number 15 with stop on it.Changed the fuse and immobilizer works again. Everything going again and radio no longer cutting out. Hope this works for you. Good luck.
We had a similar problem with key fob sometimes it would work and unlock the car other times it wouldnt same with starting the car it got to a point where it wouldnt start at all we changed to no avail. but we decided that it could be the buttons on the fob that were at fault. if you go to your local kia dealer and qoute the part number of the key fob which is 0k03b677t1 get them to order you one. change the internal parts over into new fob and it should work.. ours did perfectley. if you can not get your local dealer to get a part in call kia dealer in bayswater vic 97531888 hope this is helful we were there yesterday and they had 4 in stock $20au

The immobilizer wont unlock or start my kia 1997 sportage.changed battery in immobilizer but no good.Radio aerial started going up and down and radio has been cutting out prior to this. Arial will not go down now. How can you bypass immobilizer and where is it located.

on one of the key fobs for my 1998 Kia sportage it doesn't`t disarm the immobiliser. It was working most of the time but now not at all. The other key fob is working but hit and miss. I have checked all the fuses in the car and none have blown. I've cleaned inside the key fobs in case of dust and changed the batteries. Is there a way around the immobiliser?
remote doesnt work and cant enter and start car with key without car alarm going off and car is immobilised
