I was on the highway do 70mph on cruise control, I just had a tune-up plugs/wires/fuel filter, and all of a sudden I started hearing a clanking sound, sounds like it was coming from the pulley. Everytime i hit the gas it got louder and louder. So I pulled into a gas station shut the car off, the re-started it the noise never went away. I was about 98 miles from home and decided to try to get it as close to home as possible, right about have way home I was on an incline and I felt a big ****** like the motor had fell out, and everything shut off. I pulled it over to the side of the road and turned the key but nothing happened the engine wont even turn over. Vehicle had oil in it, anti-freeze, all fluids were topped off. Please dont tell me my engine is locked up...

unplug the cam sensor behind the water pump pulley; see if it starts; if it does, shut off engine; replace both cam and crank sensors because crank sensors go out in these engines
