Typical reason for no cruise and horn is a bad clock spring underneath the airbag. Typically you have an airbag light on as well and not an abs light

SOURCE: Cruise Control Problems

Possibly a fuse if you haven't checked, My MAX a/c switch wouldn't light up or work so I looked at the fuses and the wrong fuse was in the blower and cig lighter so I changed them and the a/c is working perfectly so check to make sure the fuses are the correct ones or they possibly wont work!!!

SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Maxima .... service engine light is on

before you do anything, have the battery fully charged, and have them do a Load test on it, once its up to full, clean all the contacts,, and start the car , check the voltage at the battery posts, you should have a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts,, if you don't, get your alternator checked, if the alt is trying to charge the battery all the time, the other things in your vehicle suffer, I had the problems your talking about in my honda, and once I got a new alt they all corrected themselves, the battery starts the car , then the alt runs everything from that point

SOURCE: horn doesn't work

check fuse first. then check horn itself by powering it with 12 volts externally.

if both are ok, your switch inside your steering wheel to use horn circuit is broken.

Srs light on, horn and cruise won't work

Well it would be helpfull to see what codes are stored in the airbag computer, but its interesting that the horn and cruise arn't working. Maybe before spending the money on having the codes scanned, i would check all the fuses, just incase.

Horn & Cruise control doesn't work

The clock spring has gone bad. You will have to remove the steering wheel to gain access to the clock spring (used to be called the turn sig. switch) But if you are going to perform this repair make sure you dis-connect the battery before you began because you could set off the air bag in the steering wheel

My cruise control doesn't work??...any

jnjkingbird, It sounds like this problem is the clock spring as I don't believe that the horn and the cruise control would share a fuse. However, they do share a circuit in the clock-spring. You can check for power at each unit (horn and the cruise control) which would confirm this. Check each fuse as well. Good luck with this.
