When you first start the car the gears work fine as you start driving it becomes hard to fined a gear.If you are in first and change to second it won't be in gear if you are in 3rd and change to second it will stay in 3rd.If you are on a hill and stop you have to rock it to get it out of gear. This all started when my son left the oil cap off and oil went every where.Could oil get on the pressure plate and cause this?Everything works find until you drive it far a mile or so.
SOURCE: Blinking Oil light. Despite plenty of oil.
It may mean you have any of the following:
A faulty sensor
A leak (sensor is picking up a reduction in pressure)
A faulty oil pump
SOURCE: 1993 Honda civic speedometer & odometer work intermittently
the only thing that is related is the d4/rough gear changing
speed/ rpm malfunction is caused by your speed sensor on the trani (common problem) change it
