I'm just adding to the first answer, which helped us a lot. We had to remove the airbag module to get to the clockspring as it was bad. My ABS lights were on. If the warning lights of the car with squiggly lines and EPS lights were on, my car ran fine. When the lights went off, the ABS brake pumping action would go off while driving. The lights would eventually come back on within 5 or 10 minutes of driving. I drove without issue with the lights on for months, I think a year. The problem was when the lights started to go off.
To remove the airbag with the notches in 2, 10 & 6 o'clock, you need to have those holes at 12 o'clock, it makes it a lot easier to get out. Also, you need to remove the cruise control gear from wheel before pulling it off.
We used a Steering Wheel Puller that we got from O'Reilly. My husband said we need L hooks to get our specific steering wheel off. We had a steering wheel puller, but not with L hooks, and he couldn't get it off. He went to a few stores, and they did not have the L puller one. O'Reilly did. I had to buy it for $15, they did not rent that specific puller out.
Also when getting the clockspring itself off, you need to adjust the steering wheel height up and down to get to the 3 screws that hold it. It will make the job a lot easier.
Getting everything back on was easier than getting off. Getting the steering wheel cover over the wheel adjuster was the most challenging part. Everything just snapped and screwed into place.
Honestly, if it had been up to me, I would have paid the stealership to fix this problem. Like the mechanic said, the dangers of dealing with an airbag are best left to the professionals. My husband has been working on cars for years, and he is very meticulous, and he had faith in his ability to fix this, which he did. The savings of $500 may not be worth the risk of injury, so proceed with caution.
So I did this on my 2008 to replace the clock spring because of ESP BAS.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal for at least 2 min. 15 min to be safe. (air bag could go off if you don't)
2. Remove cover of steering column be taking out 2 philips screws near driver ph2 worked and 1 t20 twored engine.
3. There are 2 little holes in the top of the steering wheel ignore those. There are 3 bigger holes (about 2, 6 and 10 o'clock) that have a metal latch that you will need to pry off with a flat screwdriver (needs to be short). I used a mirror to see the latches. You need to pull on airbag a little to help.
4. unplug wires to airbag and from steering wheel to column. Take out bolt from center of steering wheel 90% so when pulling on wheel it won't come off and break your nose. It took some convincing to get this off. Now take the bolt all the way out and remove steering wheel.
5. There are 3 T20 torques that hold in the clock spring two are on the new part and one is on the front when looking at the clock spring. Take those out and disconnect all the wires and remove all the switches and your wiper switch.
6. now reinstall everything.

This Link is for R&R rad fan assy, but once your there, the rad should be pretty obvious, what else needs to be done. Fan has to come off first anyway.

Looks like a bad clock spring.Don't try to make this repair unless you know what you're doing!! If the airbag blows during the process, let's just say it'll ruin your day & probably the next week. I'm a chrysler master tech,so heed my warning please. I'd tell ya how to do it but I'll get sued if you get hurt.

try turning the wheel back and forth while turning key
SOURCE: Can't remove water pump from 2007 Dodge Grand -
you must undo the three pully bolts turn the pully so it slips behind the mounting flange , then you should be able to wiggle it out , if it still hangs on frame you a long pry bar and push between frame and crankshaft bolt just hard enough to move engine slightly, this will definitly work and repeat to install. PS use a little RTV silicon to hold seal on new pump.
SOURCE: How do you reset the
-Turn the key to the run position (where all the dash lights come on)
-Immediately push the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 times, taking about 1 second for each push
-The pedal has to go all the way to the floor and all the way back up.
-After the third pump, turn the key to the off position
It may take a couple of tries to get it right. It's basically a rhythm: key on...push...push...push... key off.
Hope this helps!
