A bad earth connection point on my New Zealand model Chrysler Voyager LE (same car as yours but right hand drive) caused similar problems, including the towing thing. My dealer told me that they would be busy for 3 weeks - dealer talk for "we would prefer to sell you a new one".
A bunch of black wires connect to a chassis ground bolt on my model on the right hand side wall, under dashboard height. I was "lucky" to have the fault present when investigating it, and testing I did afterwards proved this to be a definite cause. You have to remove some covers and pull the floor carpet away This may be on the left on your model. A plug in connector is used, to bring multiple wires together at this point. All I had to do was undo the nut and clean the metal of the bolt and earth lug - use a file or sandpaper, and maybe spray on some WD40 or CRC to impove conductivity. I added an extra washer to help the metal to metal bond also. This seems to have fixed the problem. It has been OK now for about 1000 miles. Good luck !

you either have an expansion valve or an orifice tube in the system. if either is bad that will cause the prob. they do the same thing, depending on the system that you have. if you open the system to the atmosphere, the drier should be replaced. if you have a sightglass in the line, it will usually have a color parameter on it to indicate the presence of moisture. sometimes pulling a vacuum for 30 min will cure the prob. I would try pumping it down for at least 45min if you suspect a prob with the exp valve. your gauges will tell you if the exp valve is bad by the reading you get when the system is running.

Replace the bad radiator hose first. Second- get you special formulated anti-freeze dye from the auto store and pour it into the radiator. Third- make sure you got all the air pockets out of your system, cause the coolant system won't work with air pockets in it. Fourth- Check for leaks by looking for the colored dye. If it's not the radiator hose, then could possibly be a pin hole in your radiator. Would suggest replacing all the radiator hoses at the same time while you got the coolant system disconnected, cause you don't want to have to come back and replace another hose in a few months.
