Engine stalling and rough run
issue at low speeds This problem
is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and
throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use
carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC
chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is
running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the
speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and
blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the
negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control

Check the Fuel injection system (injectors) and the intake manifold. It might also be wise to check the alternator as well as the starter coil and also the electronic distributor

The Tail Lights Are Accessed From The Inside Of The Trunk There Will Either Be A Panel Immediately Behind Where The Light Is Or Carpet. Remove It And It Will Give You Access To The Rear Of The Bolts Just Grab Twist And Pull And The Light Will Come Out.
SOURCE: mazda 626 (2000) ABS light comes on sometimes
This is most likely caused by an erratic wheel speed sensor when the car is turned on it does a abs system check. When the light goes on and off it is because probblem only shows up when wheel speed sensor signal is vaulty. Since you just did the front brakes and know the problem started, it is most likely that the sensor got damaged or misaadjusted. The other thing you need to check is, the sensor is magnetic and can catch alot of debris, like metal shavings from a freshly turned rotor or other metal particles. I would see if there clean and the reluctors are clean to, also check connection and wire make sure it was not damaged. The other thing that can happen but is least likely is that, materials can be pushed into the hydraulic control module. This happens by forcing the piston to the very bottom without opening the bleeder valve since, this is where dirt and corrosion usually accumulates.
