look on eBay, Craigslist, and at local junkyards for a serviceable replacement. Any Saturn SL/SW belt 96-99 will fit, possibly even up to the 01SL. A new one is going to be too expensive, and the retractor springs all wear out with age. If you are going to spend whatever it takes for new, go to saturnparts.net.
On the 90s S models there were two screws holding the rails in front and two in back. remove those bolts, disconnect the battery and then the seat belt light wiring plug and the thing should come right out.
Are the Seatbelts Manual or Auto, if they are auto then on the Right hand side look back and see the Plastic Molding that Seperates the 2 doors take that off and at the mid or Bottom the Motor will b in there and jst disconnect it for a Temp fix, and if u want to Replace it then u may want to replace to Track for the Seat belt, They some time get wore out

Hope help with this (remember comment and rated this).
I have never found away to fix a seat adjuster. What I have had to do is go to a junk yard and buy a new seat base and intsall it. It is a pretty simple job.
Just replaced my thermostat in a 1994 Saturn SL1. Lower hose on passengers side. Had to remove two 10mm bolts. Had to use special tool (paper tube) which came with new thermostat to twist and rotate the old one out of housing. Had to use spray on gasket tack on "O" ring only to get it glued into groove because it was wound up and stuck in paper tube (I mean special tool) which caused it to be bent and hard to seat in groove. Lay "O" ring on paper and spray one side with red gasket adhesive, let dry to tacky and lay in "clean dry" groove.
Is there any other year that will fit a 99 SL2 driver seat?
