make sure you have the correct belt. check the tensioner assy. it may be weak

Probly can cut all the belt out. Would check to see if crank sensor is damaged.

You will have to 'untension' the serpentine belt first. Then to reinstall, put the belt on then loosen or 'untension' the belt tensioner. Very simple process. The belt tensioner is the first thing and the last thing you touch when changing the belt. The tensioner will apply tension to the belt after install.
