I have cheacked all fluid levels under bonnet and nothing seams to be a problem. There is a water like liquid that is leaking from one of a rubber tube underneath the car just behind the engine and more to the right hand side of the car. (UK Model) What i can gather is that it is not an oil based liquid but more of a colourless water fluid and i know its not coolant as there is no tell tale ressidue assocated with coolant. So can anyone please help me to identify this leak as i do not want to be ripped off by expensive add on extras
You know I've experienced some pretty weird things that stomped me. I had a small pin like hole in my heater core..It leaked out of a small rubber hose on the right side (Passenger side) which is about where you said it was leaking...It was such a small leak that the water in radiator wasn't low...Put you finger in the liquid your leaking then smell it...If it smells like antifreeze this might be the problem. Its hard to see color from such a small leak...The other thing it could be is that your windshield water drains are clogged up...A lot of people park there cars outside were leaves and pine straw clogg up the drain some...So after it rains or car wash the water will gather and only drip out slowly...And there are two drains one the driver and passenger sides of your car...And it drains from a little rubber hose...You can get under car with a long nail to get it draining again...or take the medal plate off under windshield to get all the leaves or pine straw out...Its not hard to do....Just another two problems to check.....Hope this helps..

probably your lower rad hose. shine a flashlight around underneath and see if you see it reflecting off of a liquid trail, that will tell you where the leak is coming from. you can also get leak tracer to add to your coolant that will leave a more visible sign.

Nope, just replace the oil filter. The filter may be loose or if the oil filter was placed without oil on the O-ring before installation will cause the O-rings to fail. If the car is due for an oil change, might as well service the engine and replace the oil and filter. Good luck and hope it's not the oil pressure sensor which will leak when it fails too and it's most of the time located by the oil filter area in most cars.
