I have 2006 taurus and no manual or labels on fuses need to know what fuse is for radio

The fuse you want to check is the F1-17 fuse in the battery junction box. This is the radio fuse.
The number F1-17 fuse is the red/yellow power wire at the radio. If the fuse is good pull the radio and check the red/yellow wire for power in, if you have power in , then suspect a bad radio. My next step would be to remove the radio and check the power wire going into the radio (red/yellow) . If you have power there, then the radio is likely bad. Ford has had major problems with the radios.

Ford fusion radio code

I had the same problem. jumped the battery and then the radio didn't work, just said "ford fusion" on the display. you need to locate the fuse box down by the brake pedal to the left, very difficult to get at. once you find it remove the plastic cover and then remove the radio fuse (look in your owners manual for the fuse number and location). using a needle nose pliers works the best. once you remove the radio fuse look at it, the small metal wire inside should be broken. replace it with an identical fuse. my fuse box had spare fuse slots with same color and number on them so I just used one of those.

Where is the fuse for the radio located on a 2001 ford windstar

There are actually a few fuses that deal with the radio but if you are only having radio problems and nothing else seems to be affected, then the fuse you most likely are needing to check is located in the fuse panel inside the vehicle under the dash to the left of the steering column. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout and the fuse you want to check is the fuse in the number 25 position which should be a 10 amp fuse. Now fuse number 6 which is exposed even with the cover on deals with the radio and fuse number 18 also have something to do with the radio but as I said if you are not having any other problems like with the keyless entry or sliding power doors (if equipt) or your windows then those other fuses shouldn't be your problem. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you do not have a copy of an owners manual, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model & year of your vehicle and I will be happy to email you a copy. Hope this helps......

2005 focus alternator fuse

Try looking at the diagram in the inside of the fuse box. There should be numbs and abbreviations that contain the fuse numbers for the radio. You can also check the manual that came with your car. With most cars, the radio fuse number is a 10 (the red fuse).

What is radio fuse location (slot number) for a 2007 Ford Focus SE? This fuse box is located in the engine compartment.

There are fuses for the radio in the fuse panel inside the car. The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the CD stowage box to access the fuses. Fuse number 31, 20 amp, fuse 57, 7.5 amp, radio and cluster (accessory), fuse 62, 7.5 amp, Radio (Start). There is a Subwoofer fuse in the Power Distribution Box, number 11, 30 amp fuse.

Radio fuse has blown need to know which one it is

there should be a 'legend' on fuse box cover identifying locations specific to your model.blown fuses are readily identified when removed & inspected. after market radios usually have an 'inline' fuse on the power supply wire as well.

2002 Jetta TDI radio fuse number? After battery vent dead, need to reset radio by pulling fuse. It is not marked in fuse box and no fuse list is in mannual.

The Fuse number is..... drum roll..... 42 .... And you don't even have to have a dead battery for the radio to lock up. I have owned my 2002 tdi since New... and about 4 or 5 times a year radio dies. When you remove the fuse... don't immediately put it back in.... The capacitors in the radio have not fully discharged and if you put the fuse right back in.. chances are it will stay locked. I count to 15... then put the fuse back in. Close fuse door.... Operate radio normally till next lock up.... then repeat process. So you won't forget the fuse number... write #42 in the white space of your fuse location sticker that is attached to the inside of the fuse door. Hope this helps... tried to be detailed.

My radio in my 05' Honda pilot stopped working. The anti-theft light flashes but there is no display. I tried installing an aftermarket stereo to see if that would work but no power goes to that either....

In my case the solution was a fuse on the passenger side inside fuse box. It is not listed as a fuse for the radio but it is none the less. If your cigarette lighter isn't working either its the fuse. On my 2004 it was fuse # 9 a 15A fuse.
