not much information there. Do you have spark? Do you have fuel? is there fuel pressure? These are the primary questions to help you with your problem.
I would take the two screws out of the MAF sensor and clean the contacts off and put it back together...try that, worked for me. There are silver prongs and if they have ANY condensation oxidation it needs to come off. Other wise check your fuel filter. Maxima's are tricky to troubleshoot but just try them two things and see what happens.
ive had 3 84 nissans and all ended up with the same problem....most of the time its the carb on that truck...not sure why but i put a weber carb and fixed all 3
I just had the same problem with my '02 altima SE.
Took it to Buckeye Nissan in Hilliard OH. and they had to replace the two crank sensors which.
The sensors themselves were about $44.00 a piece, but w/labor about $300.00 was the total. Hope this helps.....Now if I can just get the heater working!
