Does the car loose power before stalling or does it simply die without warning? If it loses power first, you're likely looking at a fuel pump or fuel system problem. If it just dies, you probably have an ignition problem. Does the check engine light come on before it dies?

CHECK VERY CAREFULLY ALL PIN CONNECTORS AT ECM POWER PLUG FOR PROPER CONNECTIONS, BENT PINS ETC....
ECM'S DO NOT FAIL TOO OFTEN!

When the gas pump first stops do you try topping off the tank ? You should stop filling when pump stops ,your flooding the Evaporative emission canister .

the battery does not just disconnect by itself .likely the battery conection is loose if you ran out of gas and it is fuel injected put the gas pedal to the floor and turn the key do not let your foot off the gas until it starts or you will flood it you have to get the gas to the injectors or else tow it to a shop

I know it might sound funny, but jump it. I have found if they dont get enough power won't start. they can turn over but dont start...

My instrument panel is doing the exact same thing. It started today. I almost think it may be a loose cable to the computer that drives the lights. Did you ever resolve your issue?

go to any autozone or kragen and they will show u how to replace the battery.

I would try a battery after checking all connections for tightness and cleanliness. What happens if you jump start?
