You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?
It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, or a list of other things.
Could even be a problem with the security system.

SOURCE: My 2004 impala has full powere but won't start no

When it doesn't start, is the security light and maybe the battery light flashing?

If yes, it's probably the PassLock security system. I just bypassed mine on my 2002 Impala. There are several websites with information and possible solutions; including spending several hundred dollars at the dealer, to a do-it-yourself bypass for a couple dollars.

The best source of information I could find was:
http://www.bergerweb.net/grandamsecurityfix.htm
There is lots of good information there.

If you want to see my writeup on bypassing the PassLock on my Impala, you may have to register at http://www.naioa.com and go to:

SOURCE: 2003 impala everything works won't

If you try to start the vehicle and there is a click when you turn the key, but does not start, you may have a solenoid problem. This is usually about 3 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter and attaches to your starter. Try giving it a sharp tap with a hammer as this is often enough to loosen contact points inside.

2002 chevy impala won't start if I jump starter

Is the security light on or flashing ?
The yellow wire goes from the key switch to the neutral safety switch, then to the starter. So bypassing the neutral safety would make the starter crank the engine, but would have nothing to do with the rest of the engine.

2008 impala will not start ,when trying to start service traction control light comes on

Does it crank over normal and just won't start or does it seem to turn over slowly or not at all. If it doesn't crank over like normal, test your battery. Low voltage will do strange things.

My 2000 impala will not start. I've had my starter, batt, & engine all replaced. I've begin to suspect my auto theif system as the reason its not starting after a lot of online research, but...

I had a Nissan doing this to me a little while ago, but couldn't figure out the problem. A couple weeks later, the lady told me she took the car to a shop and they replaced the crank and cam sensors. My bet is that it was the crank sensor.
