The altinator is putting out about 12.50 when the car is running, and the battery is about 3 months old, it will start when jumped but after its been off for a hour or two its dead and won't even turn over, I was wondering is it because the altinator isn't putting enough charge out, or could the battery be bad? I'm also wondering does the 98 continentals have a common parasitic battery drain issue? any help would be very very appreciated

the door switches are part of the door latch, the easiest way to remedy this is to spray liberal amounts of WD40 into each latch and open and close the each door a few times, this should loosen up the latch and solve your problem.
Hope this helps.

you need a serpentine belt installation tool. it is a 1 inch wide 2 foot long 3/16 inch thick steel flat with holes cut out for the tensioner bolts to fit in.there is no room for a socket.the tensioner is slackened first, then the belt can go on.you need the tool

Is the fluid full enough? there should be a dipstick to tell where the level should be. Also is the belt tight enough? Wires loose?

SOURCE: 1999 lincoln continental drivers power seat
Could be any number of items related to the seat
power motor circuit
Start by removing & testing the switches
If modules are involved, then it will be beyond
your ability to diagnose ,without a trouble chart
Check any fuses that apply
If a fuse is blown,replacing it won't
likely fix the issue, only blow again
