2001 saturn sl1 ignition key

You'll need a 14mm socket wrench.
Locate the belt tensioner pulley. It's the one closest to the alternator and the only one that comes in contact with the back surface of the belt.
Fit the socket on to the bolt on the pulley.
Try to turn it clockwise.
This should swing the pulley down and loosen the belt,
Slide the belt off one of the other pulleys.
When it's clear, release the tensioner, remove the belt.
Same deal in reverse to replace the belt.

Usually this can be temporarily solved with a shot of graphite lubricant into the key hole and moving the steering wheel side to side while turning the key. But, in the end, the ignition cylinder is wearing out and will eventually need replacing.

I think what you were saying is your reverse slams, and only when you give it gas.
You can try to do the reverse slam fix, which is easy to do:

If it doesn't work, your valve body is probably bad, here is how to swap it, in case you are up for the challenge:

Remove the plugs, make sure the new plugs are gapped to .040, put anti-seize on the threads of the new plugs, then install them and tighten accordingly.
