I turn on low beams and the left one turns on but the right does not light up. i changed out the bulb nothing i changed out the socket nothing. the high beams work fine and power goes to the only when vehicle is on when it is off no power gets to the low beam side of the right headlight.
SOURCE: 2000 Durango, Headlights went out (both), turns, hgh beams work
if the high bam headlamps work it is not the headlamp switch itself but it could be the multifunction switch
SOURCE: No high beams on 1999 Dodge Caravan; low beams work fine
replace the switch in the column i had the same problem on a 1996 caravan when i replaced the switch the problem stopped
SOURCE: 1992 dodge dakota 3.9 4x4 no low beams and one high beam
Hi the first thing I check on for anyelectrical problem is a bad ground connection. Follow the headlight wires as far as you can, even when they disappear into a larger covered loom at random places, maybe even right next to each light, you will find a wire or several attached to ground, could be a inner fender, engine, etc.. sometimes a inner fender ground is just a selftapping screw, It may be rusted out or just loose. Headlights work through relays that are also located in the fuse boxes. I assume you have checked both fuse boxes, in the truck and under the hood, good luck, Chuck

disconnect the module that is mounted in front of the fuse box .Then carefully clean the the connectors ,they are usually pretty dirty. After they are clean put it back 2gether.If it doesnt solve the prob then u might have to stick some washers on your bottom screws so that your module is angled in.This will ensure a solid connection.

One may check into the possibility of changing the 'intelligent power module' which directly powers the headlamps.
the IPM is the brain for controlling the headlamps through the headlight switch which it is also wired to. But, I think it's more of an electronic 'module' issue and less of a switch issue.
Good luck on this repair.
