I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota V8 extended cab truck. I need a fuse box diagram ( the one under the dash ) so that I can replace the fuse for the cigarett lighter. I need this so that I can charge my cell phone. Would be nice to have the diagram so that I can replace fuses in the future. Can you help?
I have a fuse diagram. Under the dash below the steering wheel, fuse # 9
The fuse for the cig. lighter will probably be located in the underhood fuse box, when you remove the cover look on the inside of the cover to see where the cig. lighter fuse is located. Check to see if fuse is blown and replace as necessary. There is a small possibility that the cig. lighter fuse is also used on another accessory circuit, so check to see if there are any other accessories that are not working too.
I dont happen to have one of those diagrams, but if you pull the fuses one by one and replace the burnt ones you should be able to 1.) Identify what item is on what circuit (for the most part) and 2.) solve your original problem with your cigarette lighter. Hope this gives you some direction. Thanks for Using FixYa!
