Make sure the fuse isn't too small. If it's the right size, then you have a shorted wire.

SOURCE: heater not blowing hot but engine not overheating

The coolant thermostat needs replaced or you need a coolant flush. Heater cores (in the dashboard) often clog and stop warm coolant from circulating into the heater. A coolant flush would cure this. Flushes usually run from 70 to 90 dollars to have done at a service shop.

SOURCE: 99 dodge stratus PCM fuse keeps blowing ..need

If you have the car manual in your glove box it has a section and diagram or you have to buy a repair book from a parts store for your car.

SOURCE: crankshaft seal blows out oil leak

The fix is replacement of motor!! I have the same problem and have already paid $700 in repairs to fix seal just to find out that the seal is being knocked out by loose crank shaft..Car had 60000 miles when I bought it 4 months ago, from a dealership, and now it needs a motor replacement..I stiil owe $5000 on a car that is worth $0..Dodge did not give the 100000 mile warranty they love to advertise on TV for the '06 Stratus..They only gave 36000 warranty because they did not think it would last much longer..Will never buy Chrysler product again!! They do not stand behind what they sell or they would have 100000 mile warranty on all their cars..

Keeps poping fuses

Any time any fuse blows, you look in your owners
manual to find out which one it is

Then go to wiring diagrams to see what is in that circuit
that might cause a fuse to blow & then start component testing

1998 dodge stratus fuse fuel pump ignition keeps blowing out i replaced it an still keeps blowing out?

The fuel pump is burned out or a wire is shorting to ground. If the car was working fine then the fuse burned out then it is probably the fuel pump..

The 20 amp fuse for the starter continually keeps blowing out we tried a 30 amp and had the same problem is there a reason for this

You either have a short or a bad starter. In either case I won't keep trying it or putting in larger fuses.
