Bluetooth Reset My Nokia C7 continuously mutes the radio, CD and MP3 playback on my i30 car kit when paired. Nokia have suggested reseting the cars bluetooth but I don't know how to do that. The car kit is a Hyundai dealer supplied model. I fitted it myself so there are no additional fuses etc involved. Anyone have any ideas on how to reset other than pulling it out of the car. :-) cheers

SOURCE: four new batteries fitted since

Muriel-sounds like you do not drive a lot, so that is probably causing a problem with your batteries-a battery is like a water tank, it starts out full, and it drains when the car is not running due to loads imposed on it by the radio memory, computer memory, and other things. If the drain is long enough (car sits) the batteries' ability to 'recharge' is diminished due to the conventional construction of a standard battery. A normal car battery can only be discharged a few times and come back-if you do a lot of short trips, and it sits long period of times, that is brutal on a CONVENTIONAL lead/acid plate battery. You should seriously consider getting a deep cycle battery-they are usually used in Marine enviornments, but can be used in cars (I have an Optima Yellow top in my Jeep, it is not driven much, and sometimes is only used for short trips). While these batteries are pricy can be found for about $200 or less) they can easily last 8-10 years and they car be fully discharged hundreds of times and they come back fully when recharged-ideal for your circumstances.

this is assuming the dealer knows what they are doing...after the car sits overnight, the battery should read 12.5 volts. when first started. it should read close to 15 volts at the battery AND at the large post on the back of the alternator-it should gradually drop down to around 14+ volts, and should stay close to the even with the lights and heater fan running ar full blast. if it is doing this, your driving circumstances dictate you get a battery more suited to you driving habits.

2014 Nissan Altima. How to unmute audio for Bluetooth please?

The 2015 Nissan Altima does not have a mute button for the Audio system. To unmute the Audio system You will have to turn the volume knob clockwise. If this does not fix the problems with the Audio in the vehicle You can try and attempt a full reset of the radio in Your car. To do this You will turn the ignition key to the "on" position and turn Your radio on, wait ten seconds and then turn Your radio off. Depress the radio power button again and wait for reset. Alternatively, enter Your dealer provided radio code to reset. You can also check to see if You had a call and if You did not press the "call hang up" button on the steering wheel while not on a call it could mute the radio so press it again to un mute it.

When on my phone it kicks me off the radio?

If you have a Bluetooth u-connect radio and Bluetooth phone it is likely the settings of the phone and car radio are to pair. I expert that during the pairing process and hands free operation the radio sets itself to mute.

Check settings!

Hope this helps?

How do I get my Samsung phone GT s5511T to reconnect to my 2015 Subaru Forrester

First: The Forester's radio/Bluetooth is almost brain dead. We should ALL demand Subaru to provide firmware (software) update to correct to numerous problems with this system.

To somewhat correct your problem:

1. Reserve a big amount of time and patient. It will be painful!
2. Navigate the menus to reset all the radio's Bluetooth settings. Make sure that no phone or device is paired with the radio.
3. Reconnect (pair) your phone to the radio by pressing the TALK button on the steering wheel and follow the voice prompts. Do not pair your phone to the radio by pressing buttons on the radio.

NOTE: ONLY ONE PHONE can be connected to the Subaru's radio system and used automatically when starting the car. Kind-of. If you have another phone or user, then... good luck!

My OnStar navigation no longer gives voice prompts for turns and such. Was working fine, radio mutes down but then no voice prompts play. Just started in middle of a drive. How do I get the audio voice...

I was told by on star that if you leave the drivers door open for 90 seconds and then lock all of the doors and wait until the next day the system will reset itself. I know this sounds like smoke and mirrors but it does work. Please let me know. Hope this helps.

if you have a bluetooth phone paired to the vehicle, try deleting all bluetooth devices. Sometimes a battery reset can cause bluetooth synchronizing issues.
