When you say wont accelerate does the RPM flares that would be the transmission slipping, or you step on the pedal all the way and the vehicle has lack of acceration you can hear a hissing noise that would be a plugged exhaust. Here the thing you related it to fuel has the problem on the ignition coil is a powerstage if this stage acts up it allows you to accelerate you just dont go anywhere it back fire through the intake that would be the power stage it located on the ignition coil
when the engine is cold all the fluids in the engine are "cold" and it is a little thicker than it is when it is warm so just start it a little earlier than you normaly would to give it all time to get warm, another benifit to this is no cold car to climb into.
When going up hills is the engine bucking and missing? Also for the hard start warm problem, check the fuel pressure regulator for leaks into the vac line.
this is by
design. under load, the computer will
deactivate the air conditioning in order to take the load of the
compressor off of the engine, thereby getting more power for required
acceleration. the a c light will remain illuminated etc, and after you
finish accelerating the air conditioning will resume normal operation.
Sounds like throttle A/C cutoff. Check at what point A/C stops. Full throttle, 3/4, half, etc,... You can disable the throttle A/C cutoff. This is designed for increased performance. Check manual for your cars setup.
