Strange, it sounds like you've got a dead spark plug, but that would be continuous, not only in the morning, the other explanation could be that the engine management is injecting too much fuel, flooding the cylinder, and wetting the spark plug, which would explain why you need to wait 5 mins for the fuel to evaporate. Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes to reset the EMS, if that doesn't help, get to a workshop and let them check the EMS with a computer, the electric choke may be sending the wrong signals to the EMS. Hope this helps!

the problem is your sensor is bad . the sensor for for the fuel pump is not sending power.

yeh go back to Kragen and say are you taking the ****, reset button who told you that. it must be next to the kerfuffle valve. and operated by the **** behind the peddle. or the nut behind the wheel. how to start a car lesson one. heavy duty Power to the starter, and a good chassis earth generally through the engine block. a good charge in the battery. and a switched live to the low tension circuit on the solenoid of the starter motor via ignition switch/key. if all those are fine it should work.......

If you've never replaced the timing belt or chain,That would be my first thing I'd check is the Timing belt or chai, just aline the timing marks on crankshaft and then look at the position on the distributor to see if it's pointed in the #1 firing position .
