Transmission rear seal to drive shaft is leaking after replacement. Do thet make a heavy duty double lipped seal due to wear on driveshaft ?. Any suggestions ?

Hello , You could have a leak at the transmission dip stick tube o-ring, the front pump gasket, the torque converter seal , the transmission output shaft seal or the transmission oil cooler lines. I suggest you put the car on a lift to make it easier to see where the leak is coming from.
At issue is wear. If the seals leak, there is typically bushing wear that allows the shaft to have excessive side play. You could change the seals, but it will start leaking again, soon. Get a rebuilt box and you will be much happier, longer.
leak around What shaft, drive shaft, CV shaft, etc??? If drive shaft, on rear whell drive vehicle, the transmission needs a new rear main seal! Good luck
When you take off the drive shaft, I believe you will reveal the large nut that hold the tail piece on. It has a cotter pin. Remove the nut, and it will slide right out. Then you need a special puller that has fingers that press out ward, hook the bushing, and then extract it. But this could also be an actual bearing I suppose. After tapping the new one in, put in a new seal, and top up the gear oil that you lost when the old seal went out.
Place vehicle on Jack stands, remove drive-shaft, remove old seal with a Seal Puller, place lubricant on inner lip of new seal, install new Seal carefully & do not damage the Output Shaft of Transmission with hammer etc. , reinstall Drive-shaft, lower vehicle, check fluid level, road test vehicle
No clamp, it sounds like it is just a bad seal.
Just remove the drive shaft and pry out the old one and tap in a new one. very easy on those cars. juts make sure you put some tran fluid on the rubber part of the seal before installing the drive shaft or it can tear it.
