Was driving truck, stopped several times and then went to stop at light and pedal went clear to the floor. master cylinder on firewall is full and still nothing?

try getting new boot, then bleeding, just like brakes, hopefully you just got air in the line, i think the bleeder screw is close to the line going into the tranny bell housing, driver side

it sounds like your still not getting all the air out of your lines. it helps to have a brake bleeder but they are expensive, it also could be that the gasket inside the master cylinder is inverted even if it is a new master cylinder this could be the case, ive had four bad remanned ones in a row, before i got a good one... hope i could help

I could be your brake booster which provides the power assist in your braking. The hissing would indicate a booster gone bad. With no booster it takes a lot of pedal pressure to get the braking you are used to.

Hello Blue, In order to ease your mind some the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing and it will not be in a clutch kit but needs to be replaced and when you have replaced the clutch assembly and slave cylinder,I recommend using DOT5 brake fluid which has a higher boiling point than DOT3 to bleed the system.
