I am getting a huge clunk in the front end of my 1997 Ford F-250 when turning into a driveway with any type of dip to it.

It seems to only make the clunk if I turn to the right into a drive way with a dip. I am also getting clunk sounds anytime I hit any type of a bump in the road. Almost sounds like the wheels are loose and bouncing, but all the lugs are tight.

That would be the frame rivets creaking and poking. You need the dealer to address this properly.

SOURCE: Clunking and knocking noise from rear when hitting bumps.

-it could be the sawy bar linkages
-but also check to see if the struts are leaking or that it looks damp
-but because you said it doesn't look like it bouncing when you hit a dip most likely it could be that the struts are dead
-check to see the cars ride hieght that would give you a clue

SOURCE: clunk noise from front passenger side when

That noise sounds to me like a Ball Joint problem. I would check to see if you have fittings to grease the front suspention.

Good luck, Allen

Clunking accelerating or turning sharply to the left.

Check the front suspension ball joints and steering joints. Check wheel bearings and adjustment. Check shock absorber mounts for condition . Check steering insert condition and top mount rubbers and bearings if McPherson strut set up.. If you have a steering shock absorber then check it's condition and mounting

Hi i have a 97 f150xlt with a 2001 4.2 litre or 6cyl truck was working fine parked in driveway came out in morning and just get a clunk from the relay i checked the battery and starter and all seem fine...

Sounds like a bad battery. How did you test battery & starter? Have you tried jump starting? Sounds like battery isn't holding a charge, it might be able to turn on lights, etc, but starter draws 100s of amps where bulbs draw min amps, Also clean you battery cables top and ESPECIALLY the bottom ends. The bottom end connections are exposed to grease, grime, and YES they're a pain to get to but they need it more than the top connections.

We have had three Ford Excursions. All were 4x4,

Too many possibilities.
It could be anything from a ball joint to a muffler hanger.
I suggest you repeat the driveway experiment, with several people outside the car, on the sidelines.
Check for ripped ball joint boots.
Check rubber bushings. like A-arm attachment points.
