How do i disconnect the alarm on my 2002 jeep grand cherokee.
There should be a fuse panel somewhere either underneath or on the side of your dash. On those year of Cherokees, I think it's on the passenger side, either on the wheel-well kick panel, or on the side that you can access when the door is open. The owner's manual that came with your vehicle will have a chart somewhere inside that shows a diagram a tells what each of your fuses controls. One of the fuses in the diagram should be labeled "anti-theft" or perhaps "security system". As long as this circuit doesn't have anything else running on it, you can find the corresponding fuse on your fuse panel, and simply remove it.

I have the same problem on my 1994 Grand Cherokee. I pulled that fuse and have signicantly fewer alarms. My new issue is that sometimes as I drive down the road, my alrm will go off -horn stays on. I have to pull over, shut off the car and cycle the tailgate lock with the key (the two front door lock-enabled alarm switches are no longer functional).
The alarm sometimes goes off when I cycle between hi-beam and low-beam on the head lights. I'm ready for the next step in the alarm disable solution.
