If you are talking about the sway bar end links. you can replace them yourself to save a few bucks. first Raise the front of the vehicle with a hydraulic jack. Place jack stands under the frame on each side of the vehicle. Lower the hydraulic jack so that the weight of the vehicle is supported by the jack stands and the front wheels are off the ground. locate the sway bar end links on either side of the front sway bar. Remove the bolts from each end of the sway bar end link. replace the bushings in the same order you take them off. you can go to any auto parts store and buy end links for your car.

Front end problems in stering had alined 4 times and stll drifts from side to side at 60 plus miles an hour and new tires where to look next??

Sway bar links, sway bar bushings, or the sway bar is broken. I would go back and retrieve my money. You would think with this problem(I'm sure you told them), they would have caught this. The first one probably aligned it, the others, just charged you. You have this in front and back. Drift is sway. I would have checked both.

RATTLING NOISE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TIRE

The first thing to check on a rattling noise is if going over minor bumps in the road if that is when it makes noise is a sway bar link, they make a rattling noise. If you raise that wheel up you might also want to try and wobble the wheel to be sure it is not a tie rod end or ball joint. Typically I run into the sway bar links or the sway bar bushings making the noise. However ive even seen it be a rock sitting on the strut plate.

2003 Saturn Ion vibration begins at about 60 mph. Tires are good and in balance and show no signs of uneven wear. Had tires rotated as well to see if problem changed, it did not. Had local mechanic put...

Try replacing the end links to the front sway bar. The sway bar end link bushings may be worn and needs to be replaced, buy the sway bar end link kit with the urethane bushing. They last a life time and cost about $45.00 for both sides at Parts Source or Auto Zone and takes you less then 30 min to repalce both sides. Good Luck and keep me posted. Worn bushing to the sway bar, shocks and steering component will cause vibrations out on the highway.

Replacing sway bar. cannot get new sway bar to propper position. how do i get it to fit propperly?

Your old sway bar made of tubular steel. New sway bar made from solid steel. You have a frame under engine the sway bar attaches too. This frame also supports your engine and trans mounts. Follow frame and there are 4 bolts securing same. Mechanic I watched supported engine underneath. Loosen back bolts though not removed. (please note sway bar has arrow that bar can only go in one direction) This maybe your problem. Attach bar to frame and fitting's. Best if you raise front end and remove both tires. Good luck

My 2004 F-150 2WD is making a clanking noise on front left tire

The sway bar linkage probably came undone on one of the sides. Wikipedia has a picture of what your sway bar linkage may look like:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sway_bar

That is a picture of a Porsche sway bar, but the idea is the same. Make sure all bolts are tight and that one end is not missing the linkage that connects it to the spring/strut. The grinding of the brakes may be the sound of the linkage piece touching the rotor. Sway bar is a logical solution to both issues.

If that doesn't fix the issue, put the front end of the truck on blocks or jack stands and have somebody wiggle the tire up/down and side to side while you inspect the mechanical components underneath. Other things to check may be the ball joints, tie rod ends and suspension bits.

What is the purpose of the swine bar? The bar right by the tire. it has broke in my vehicle.

You mean the sway bar? If so, the sway bar or roll bar, or sometimes called the stabilizer bar. The sway bar has two functions.
  1. To prevent body roll or lean in a turn.
  2. It is used to control the handling of the vehicle and is tuned to your specific vehicle based on many characteristics.
You most definitely need to replace the broken sway bar. A vehicle with a broken sway bar is not a safe vehicle. The handling is not what it should be and this can be dangerous if you have to make a quick maneuver. Replace it, ASAP.
