JUST RECENTLY GOT MY THERMOSTAT SENSOR REPLACE SO MY CAR WONT OVERHEAT .. NOW MY FANS WOULD NOT KICK ON SO I UNPLUGGED MY THERMOSTAT SENSOR SO MY FANS WILL COME ON BUT NOW MY CAR RUNS FINE WHEN COOL BUT WHEN IT HEATS UP IT STARTS TO SKIPS AND STALL AND SOMETIMES CUTS OFF , ANY IDEA WHAT IT MIGHT BE??
If you unlplugged the temp sensor so the fans will run the cars computer cant read engine temp and will call for to much fuel which will run good when cold but bad when warmed up
I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/joe_a3369546f8067589
SOURCE: 2000 chevy lumina. Is fan supposed to come on when car started
no fan comes on when engine cold start up .but it will come on when you turn on air conditioning or defrost on .if engine idling a while when temp get 190 degree the fan will kick on.if over heating you got air in system .wait until cools check coolant add more .crank engine let it idle few. minutes when start warming up turn off engine wait a while before removing radiator cap so you wont get scald.add more coolant .crank it again starting warming up turn off engine wait a while .add coolant .keep doing this procedure until your coolant stop dropping off .if you do this more than 6 times you got a leak some where.check crank level for signs.if oil level higher than normal.if everything looking good.when engine cool make sure add coolant to over flow jug cold level mark.

check your aux fan if it is working good, clean radiator, check water pump

If you have done this already, then bleed the cooling system, this is all you lack, just get the air out of the system, two bleed ports, one on the thermostat housing, and one on the engine near the water pump, just bleed them out as the car warms up,the thermostat bleeder last,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.
