I had just bought a 1996 Dodge Dakota 4x4 3.9L. My heater fan has shut off on me and its getting colder by the day. i belive its a fuse but i dont have an owners manuel to find out what fuse it could be. so if you have a diagram of some sort or know where i could get one send it through.
Under the hood. There is a connector on the firewall. It is for the blower motor varible speed resitor. My Dakota had the same kind of problem. You may need to clean the connection up a bit..Under the hood. There is a connector on the firewall. It is for the blower motor varible speed resitor. My Dakota had the same kind of problem. Find a fuse diagram printed on the back of your fuse box cover, or follow this link to know the placement of each fuse in your car: https://knigaproavto.ru/shemy/en/dodge/dakota/766-2002-2004-dodge-dakota-fuse-box-diagram.html
Check the auto shut down relay. It powers up the coil. But only for 3 seconds after you turn the key on or when cranking. If you just have the key on, you won't have any power at the coil.
