It died as i was driving down the road. it showed no problems previous to its dying. i changed the fuel filter but still nothing. it was trying to turn over before the fuel change but afterwards it doesnt even do that. when i turn the key i get nothing at all.
You have flattened the battery ,now charge the battery for 24 hrs then it will crank ,if it still doesnt start then check the fuel pressure 55lbs on the common fuel rail their is a tyre valve ,connect a pressure gauge to this valve and see what you read

check for spark if there is spark present the it could be the map sensor.
if you don't have spark then the crank sensor in side the distributor is bad

The Powertrain Control Module or PCM controls all of the ignition duties on this engine. There is no separate ignition module.

It might be your fuel filter. Also, Dodge and Chrysler is bad for fuel pump failures. A clogged fuel filter can cause this. Also, you might not be getting enough fuel pressure. There should be a test port on the van, where you can test the gas pressure. You also have a fuel pump relay or switch. This could be bad as well. Hope this helps you.
