2003 jeep wrangler transmission problem

The starter could need to be shimmed . Check at the dealer parts dept.

it is in the tranfer case because you can't get it in 4x4 at all
now if it went in 4x4 drive and the front wheels don't engauge its the front end

Use Chrysler ATF+4 fluid or any fluid that meets ATF+4 specs

There is a small square "trap door" in each wheel well directly behind the fog lamps. You can pry it open and access the fog lamps. They just twist loose.

Assume that is stuck in 4wd, cannot shift back to 2wd. Have you tried shifting to 4wd/Lo and back? Try letting out on the clutch while slowly rolling?

Assume you are manual transmission?

This sounds like the linkage could have fallen or broken off. Have someone move the 4wd shifter while you look under the vehicle.

1) If you want performance in the rain, you need an all season tire.
2) I had 31x10.5 on my Jeep.
3) The vibration could be a bad steering damper.
4) Dana rears are almost ablong shaped on the cover. The other is perfect round shape cover.
5) Tell your wife the Jeep is for her.

shift tranny from 1st-3rd if engine revs up clutch needs replacing

You may have gotten some snow it the connector for the TCM ( transmission control Module) computer for the transmission, or you may have pulled a wire off from the bottom of the vehicle check for any loose wiring harness connectors on the Transmission.
