2006 Chevy Trailblazer Tail Lights

The left rear tail light does not work. The left rear brake light, back up light and turn signal work fine. The right rear tail lights all work. It appears there is no voltage going to the left rear tail light. I don't have an owner's manual to troubleshoot the problem.

Is there a dedicated fuse to the left rear tail light ??

vehicle light work fine, but trailer turn signal light will not work when vehicle lights are on. Brake fuse burns out when trailer light are hooked up.

There was a recall on this, take to the dealer and they will replace the whole socket on this.

The left rear tail light don't work the license plate light don't work. The left rear turn signal, back up,and brake lights all work ,all the lights on the right side rear work. 06 trailblazer chevy.

My guess is one of those lamps is burned out, therefore not sending current to the next. My second guess is that the license plate light is last in line, so I would start with the left tail light

I have a 2006 trail blazer the brake lights are not working the light on my top works

If the bulbs are good, the problem is usually inside the turn signal switch. I would check that first.

Wiring diagram running light, need wiring diagram for 2006 dodge dakota ,right tail light is out but brakeand turn signal works

With a test light check if you have power there with lights on and with lights off, compare left side with right side as far as location in the tail lamp plug for the tail lamp park lights.Trace the harness back to the left side underneath usual corrosion in this area.

I have a 2004 Chevy TrailBlazer that just developed a problem with the left turn signal. The left turn signal indicator on the dash is blinking rapidly and the tail light turn signal is out. I change out...

The Trailblazers have a common problem with the printed circuit boards in the tail lamp housing.
Unplug the tail lamp housing at the wiring connector and test for power with a test light. ( With turn signals on) You may have an open circuit in the lamp housing circuit board. Good luck

Rear tail lights not working

If both tail lights are not working it is likely to be a fuse or bad connection under the hood or a connector at the back see if you can trace the wires to a connector and see if it is dirlty or corroded.

Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

2006 Chevy Trailblazer Rear Tail Light

Yes there was a recall on the brake lights, but I don't believe 06+ was included. NHTSA Campaign Number: 04V527000
Manufacturer GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
Components EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Potential Number of Units Affected 871,473

My 03 was included and fixed, but my 06 is not. Hope that clarify's. More than likely it's the same darn problem, kind of like the master door switch recall (melting). Not all years were included in the recall, BUT ALL years suffer from this problem. Maybe have them check the problem that the 03's were having.
