Press "NAV" to go to the main navigation menu.

Scroll down and select "System Settings"

Scroll down and select "Clock Setting"

Make sure "Show GPS Clock" is selected with a red check in the box.

I had to switch "Daylight Savings" from "ON" to "OFF" in order to bring the time back an hour. I assume that I'll just have to switch it back to "ON" in the Spring in order to move the time forward and hour.

so what you're saying is that he needs a navigation disc to change the time?

  • cmcrobb Oct 21, 2010

No. Pressing the NAV button on the unit just brings up the menu to get to SYSTEM SETTINGS.

Idid see a service bulletin concerning radio. sound and display lost after engine crank. turn key off, then back to accessory position, radio functions work. the fix is to reprogram radio with new software. How do I change the time on the clock

Do you have the factory radio? What year vehicle? Most Chrysler/Dodge radios have 2 small (pen point size) buttons on them, 1 has an H the other has an M above it. You take a pen and push on the respective letter for hours or minutes.

Change the clock

If you have a navigational system, there is an option to change the time under the nav menus. Hope this helps you out a bit. I have an 07 Commander and that's how I change the time.

Disconnect your negative battery cable for about 20 seconds. You will have to reset your clock and radio stations after.

Navigation

I am just guessing, but it sounds like whoever traded the car in might have given you a disc that wasn't for your particular vehicle??? I ordered a disc online, thinking I had the right one... and it read Disc Error as well when inserted. However, when I got the part# right, the new disc worked like a charm.

Also, when I bought my Charger... the dealership told me that it is not uncommon for the former owner to switch out discs before they trade the car in. I would call your dealer and read the number off the disc to them... so that they can check it to be sure that it is one that should be compatible with your year/make/model before I went any further.
