How to remove radio 1990 jaguar xj6
Find the bar code under the hood, it's on the drivers side (left) toward the top.... it's about 1 inch tall and 5 wide. There are numbers below the bar code...use the last four numbers. This is usually your code! It worked for me! Enter the code on the radio numbers.

You will have to go to the dealer, I thought that was clear, we have no access to classified radio codes, these are for theft deterance, how would we have the codes???
Jaguar vehicles are equipped with audio systems that require a special radio code. This code is not used, unless the radio is removed from the vehicle, or the vehicles battery is disconnected, or has lost all power.
It is best to always have a copy of your radio code in a safe place, not in the vehicle!
If you know your radio code, but do not know how to enter It into the radio. Visit car radio unlock code guides, for assistance with entering your radio unlock code.
Jaguar calls this feature "Anti-theft". Its purpose is to prevent unauthorized users of your radio and will not allow your car stereo to operate without the proper code.
Jaguar began using radio thieft code feature about the end of the Series 3 era and is still used in many Jaguar vehicles today!
Retrieving your antitheft unlock code is simple. We will need your vehicle VIN# or vehicle VIN# and radio serial number, depending on the year.
Type 1 will NOT require the radio to be removed from the vehicle, to locate the Jaguar radio serial number. Most Jaguar vehicles that are 1996 and newer may use TYPE 1.
Type 2 will require the removal of your radio.
