You change the bulb from inside the engine compartment . raise the hood and feel for a plastic retaining ring in the back of the headlite. Loosen 1/4 turn and bulb socket and old bulb will pull out from the headlite assembly Unplug the old bulb and replace with new one . assemble in reverse order.
Remember, never touch a halogen bulb with bare fingers. Oil from your skin can cause the bulb to burn out prematurely. Handle the bulb by it's plastic base at all times.
Hello thank you for using FixYa.com my name is David,Here is the instructions you requested.
There can be slight variations in procedure from one model to another when replacing headlights. For instance, on some models the turn signal light assembly must be removed before the headlight can be replaced. Overall, however, the procedure does not differ much from the following typical instructions.
Make sure the replacement bulb is the same type and part number as the one that is being replaced. To Replace:
Remove the headlight bezel retaining screws. Remove the bezel. If necessary, disconnect the turn signal lamp wires.
Remove the retaining ring screws from one or both lights.
Remove the retaining rings.
Remove the light from the housing. Disconnect the wiring connector from the back of the light.
Push the wiring connector onto the prongs at the rear of the new light.
Place the new light in the headlight housing. Position it so the embossed number in the light lens is on the top.
Place the retaining ring over the light and install the retaining ring screws. Tighten them slightly.
Check the aim of the headlight and adjust it, if necessary.
Install the headlight bezel. Secure it with the retaining screws.
Connect the turn signal lamp wiring (if it was disconnected).

there SHOULD BE AT LEAST TWO SCREWS HOLDING THE LICENCE PLATE LENS IN PLACE .REMOVE THE SCREWS AND PULLTHE BULBS OUT,THEN PUT (NEW BULBS)IN PUT IT BACK TOGETHER,MAKE SURE THE NEW BULBS WORK BEFORE PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER
never seen left handed threads on a brake disk ,use a impact driver as they are tight to remove and if that doesnt move them drill the head off ,the wheel nuts will hold it all in place ,some cars like fiats do not even have a retaing screw
If you can see the head of this screw, drill it out and retap the threads with M8 x 1.25tpmm. Due to the heat these seize often.
It best to use a depth stop set at 12mm below surface to prevent possible damage to the hub or bearings. Manual Hammer driven impact drivers are often effective and sold by harbor freight cheap.
Hi. While looking into your question I came across another posting of the same question for a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor and I believe it could help you. I put it in a link below. The instruction are basically the same. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of anymore assistance. 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Headlight Replacement
The front three should be easy enough. They are right in front of the intake plenum. (big black plastic looking thing on top of the engine. The back three are underneath the intake plenum. It seems like a lot to tackle but it is really not that bad. As always, if you are not sure you have the skills to attempt this go to a qualified mechanic. I did mine in an afternoon.
