It might not be the starter it could just be a relay i would check the relay and if it is just clicking when you try to start it then that is probubly it if not maybe you have a bad batery

How do i fix my high rpm miss on a sl2 motor

Start by replacing the ignition coil. (Don't remember if that year has a coil pack or a distributor with an HEI coil... either way, replace the coil).

My 97 saturn sl2 will not start

You'll need to crawl under the car and check for power on the small terminal of the stater with the key in the crank position. Knowing if you have power there will help to give you a direction to go in. If you don't have a test light or a multi meter, you can jump the large wire at the starter to the small wi at the stater with the key in the off position. If the starter works than you'll need to focus on wiring. If the starter doesn't work replace it.

Need to locate the starter location for a 1999 saturn sl2

It's on the backside of the motor if you stand on the drivers side and look down on the back side of the motor you can just see it the best way to get at it is put the car up on jack stands get under the car it's in the middle of the back of the motor.
Good luck

Motor stalls

Check the engine coolant sensor and idle control valve, if it  stalls when pushing the brake pedal check the ground in the trunk ant left bottom corner.  Tail lights and fuel pump share the same ground.

Moonroof won't open, has power & Cables o k

The original roof parts were likely plastic and had a tendency to crack. I recently replaced the tracking (sunroofdoctor.com) in my daughters 1997 and it was simple but not easy; but works great. Sunroofdoctor sells rebuilt "modules" with the plastic parts replaced with aluminum parts. About $360 after 'rebate'. Good luck.
