Brake lights is controled from "brake light switch", generally, this is located on top back side brake pedal.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Fuse #26 (7.5 Amp) in the passenger compartment fuse box. It is referred to as the brake pedal switch fuse. It alos provides power to the following, unless these other circuits are dead the fuse is not the problem.

PATS Transceiver, Brake shift

interlock solenoid, Brake pedal

switch, Automatic transmission relay

coil, Reverse switch (back-up lamps
for manual transmission)

SOURCE: no running lights on boat trailer towed by 2008 ford f150

You can purcahse a tester which will connect into the F-150's wiring harnes. If the led lights up, the problem is witht he trailer's wiring harness. this tester will indicate the proper operation of the brake light and turn signals.

SOURCE: how to reset airbag light on 2008 ford fusion

Here's a couple of things you can try. First, disconnect the positive battery terminal on the battery for 5 minutes or so. If this doesn't make the light go out and stay out then I would take it by your local auto parts store, they will check for any trouble codes free of charge and that will point you in the right direction. Hope this helps.

How do I find the fuse for my brake light

If the brake lights coming on is intermittent, sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, it would not be the fuse. Fuses either supply power to a device or when they blow, they don't.

In your scenario the most likely reason would be a failing brake light switch. The other possibility is the ground connection by the rear lights, but if the tail lights and reversing lights work when the brake light doesn't work, then you can discount that.

Where is the fuse in fuse box for taillight on 2012 Ford Escape

The tail light fuse in a 2012 Ford Fusion can be found in the fuse panel that is in the cabin on the driver's side under the steering wheel. The fuse should be number 22 but always check with the cover that is over the panel to confirm. If Your tail lights are out on Your Fusion the first thing You should check are the bulbs. These burn out regularly and are a consumable part. If they are okay then the next thing to check are the fuses. If the fuse is blown go ahead and replace it and make sure the lights work. If You are popping fuses regularly to Your tail lights then there is likely a short in the wiring to them.

2006 ford fusion i cant find the cig lighter fuse

The fuse for the cigarette light is fuse number 15 in the fuse box inside the vehicle. The fuse will be a 20 amp fuse. The fuse panel will be under the dash on the driver side. This will have a cover over it and may take a flashlight to find. Replace the fuse and test to see if its working. If its not check the fuse again. If you find it blown again look for loose change or some conductor stuck in the cigarette lighter. good luck
