SOURCE: saturn ion blower motor

lower settings as far as speeds for your blower motor go through a resister block to reduce the voltage your blower motor receives to make it turn slower. If it turns slow on high you would have to check the voltage at the blower motor, should be the same voltage that would be at the battery. There could also be material in the blower motor fan like things a mouse could have put there. Causes the fan to spin slower and also blocks the fins from pushing air. Any strange noises would be heard unless you have had the prob since you owned it and could not detect any changes. It could be even full of stuff and still
be in balance. but it could be a few other things.

One is front of the cat, and one after the cat of the exhaust.
The OBD Scanner should tell you which bank is producing the error.
Bank one is the front one.

SOURCE: 2004 SATURN ION Alarm goes off without being armed.

if you have a sunroof, the sunroof drains are clogged. either way you may have a bad door switch. you will have to pull each one out and look for corrosion at the plug. the fronts are most common, they are on either side of the dashboard.

Is there a way to change the signal relay?

It's just a speaker. Vehicle has no flasher relay - body control module (computer ) does that function. Suggest you put correct blubs back in .

Turn Signal Lamps
When the turn signal switch is place in either the right or left turn position, the turn/hazard request circuit is pulled low, through a resistor. The body control module (BCM) uses the resistors to determine if the left or right turn signals have been requested. The BCM then supplies an ON-OFF voltage to the turn signal lamps and turn signal indicator on the selected side of the vehicle. The turn signals receive a ground at G101, G401, or G403.

2005 Saturn Ion front passenger turn signal not working

Did you replace the bulb in the passenger side running light/turn signal socket? There are two filaments in that bulb, one for the running light (which you indicate works) and one for the turn signal. If that bulb (filament) is burned out, it will make the turn signal flash faster. I don't know why you were swapping headlights, don't know where the fire box under the hood is, and don't know what a jumper sore is, so can't help you any further. I have a Saturn Ion, and have never found a fire box or jumper sore in it.

Front left turn signal doesnt work

The turn signal circuit is different from the parking lights. So the headlights would not be involved.
You should have power on one side of the bulb for parking lights and the other for turn signals.
If you have no power for the turn signal circuit, I would look at the turn signal switch. It powers each bulb separately.

The turn signal bulb continues to blink fast even after replacement.

Hey people. , I had the same problem with my 04 ion. I was at the dealer one day and the service guy told me there was a recall on all SATURN IONS because of this problem. So if you still have the car get it checked at a dealer. Hope this helps you PEACE

Were is the ignition switch on a 2003 saturn ion

The Ignition starter switch is located directly to the rear of the ignition lock cylinder and it is directly actuated by the lock cylinder. You must remove the outer covers of the column to replace it. Below is a picture of the switch. Use the OEM part as it is far better than aftermarket parts and about the same price.

2004 Saturn Ion blinker problem!

Usually when the turnsignal blinks rapid this is a indicator that the turn signal bulbs is blown, you will need to check both the front and rear signal to see which is not working, and then change the blown bulb or bulbs.

Saturn Ion 2003 blinker is blinking really fast

fast flashing signals mean that one of the bulb are not flashing, usually a burnt out signal bulb. just turn on the signals and check for what bulbs don't flash. replace bad bulbs and then chack again.

My front driver's side turn directional doesn't work. The bulb is good; it comes on when I turn on the headlights. However, when I flip on the left turn signal it only blinks in the back.

Check inside the bulbs connector.. My Ion had some sort of residue that wouldn't allow connection to the bulb. If you have a black/brown tar substance there, scrape it off, or use liquid contact cleaner (Or BOth)..

Also check the bulb leads, and make sure they're clean...
