I had the same problem on my 2003 Intrepid and the only solution was to replace the engine. If this is a 2.7 liter, (like mine) this may be what you need to do to get it back on the road. This is expensive, mine cost nearly $6000 in parts and labor. Even if it's just an oil pressure problem, you don't have to run it run to mess things up.
There is a crank positioning sensor on the passengers side transmission bell housing if it goes bad the car won't start. I just bought a remanufactured engine for my 2001 LHS it cost $2400.00. Put it in myself and it fired right up first try after sitting for a year. 100,000 mile warrenty or 3 years. Goggle Promar engines great people will deliver engine to your car. But this would be my last resort (buying a new engine) not my first. You have lots of checks to do first.
