I took my 01 impala to the shop and they checked it out and after 2 days they found out by mistake when they were changing the intake manifold gasket that 2 injectors had broken gaskets so air was escaping causing the cylinders to misfire. The reason the seals were broken was because the person installing the injectors did them incorrectly and cut gaskets after that everything was fine hope this helps good luck.
I own a 2005 Chevy impala too I took it back were I got it from and they check it out you transmisson fluid might have thined out take and have it check asap!!!!! I'am not a mac. but I am sure thats not good they took it stright to the rack and changed it and flushed it out you might have got some bad transmisson fluid. my 2005 impala jerks when driving just started at once any idea
I had the same problem at 52k had to replace the transmission, and GM would not pay a dime on becasue the 2005 transmission only had a 36k covrage. I rebulid the transmission cost 3500 dollars then keep a eye on the horn and power sterring pump. they car has had over 5000 in reparis out of pockit, noe they wonder why GM is going under
i have the same problem on my 2001 impala 3.8 it only jerks when it warms up not when its cold and only when it shifts.
my car does the same thing. It is fine when it warms up. We were told the trans had to be replaced. I called GM they said there was nothing they could do but they had worked it out with the dealership and we only have to pay half. Get a new trans if you have to replace it. The warranty is better. Not that I will keep my car that long. BTW I have also had problems withe security system, blower motor, relay for the heat and electrical problems.
my cars **** when i make a stop, the gears not shifting
